Superior Peat is alpine or hypnum peat which has decomposed for over 3000 years.

Hundreds of Orchardists and Grape Growers now use Superior Peat in various types of soil. All have their own ideas about the quantity they need to use for their type of soil as well as what method they will use mixing.
